Jennifer grew up in a small town in North Central Arkansas where her family has lived since before the Civil War. Her mother has been a shining example of patience, submission, and servitude. Her father taught her to have a diligent work ethic, the value of education, and the importance of heritage.
When Jennifer was very young, she suffered a stroke. That event played a pivotal role in the development of her character and world view. She believes that at that point the LORD spoke into her life saying, “For I am the LORD your God who takes ahold of your right hand and says to you: Do not fear; I will help you.” (Is 41:13) The LORD continues to fulfill that promise!
By the LORDS intervention, Jennifer met and married the love of her life six years ago. She and her husband have two beautiful children, ages 5 and 2 years old, who have taught her how to love outside of the bounds of heart.
Jennifer has a degree in Elementary and Special Education from Harding University. She taught in public schools for six years before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom. Occasionally, she moonlights as a literacy tutor.
When she had her first child, she had little experience around babies and small children. It was a completely different experience than teaching. Through trial and error and the support of her family and friends, she just now feels as though she is getting the hang of the whole” parenting thing.” Routine and consistency are paramount in her style of parenting which is driven by her personality. Jennifer relies on the LORD to guide her and prays daily for the fruits of the Spirit.
