“You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” Psalm 128:2

I have a great recipe for you today! It’s really easy to do but so good! Several months ago, I was telling a friend that I needed something to make for my company coming in. It needed to feed over ten people, but I wouldn’t have much time to make it. She told me about this recipe, and I’ve been using it at least twice a month ever since. I like to get my roasts at Sam’s, and I usually cook two roasts at a time. Depending on how much meat you like on your sandwich, it could make up to 6 footlong subs. My kids LOVE this recipe. I think part of the reason they eat it so well is because they like dipping the sandwich in the sauce.
Put a 3-5 lb. roast in a crock pot
Combine the following and pour over roast:
1 AuJus Gravy packet (I use McCormick)
1 Italian Salad Dressing packet
1 can beef broth
1/2 soup can of water
Pour the sauce over the beef and cook on low for 8 hours.
Slice beef thinly or you can even shred it and then use the warm juice liquid to dip the sandwiches into.
After you shred or cut the meat, put it on a sliced loaf of fresh bread.(I get mine in the bakery section of Wal-mart or Sam’s.) Top it with sliced swiss cheese and toast it in the oven at 350 until the cheese is melted.
