“He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.” Psalms 111:5

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m already thinking about what I’m going to feed my overnight guests the day after Thanksgiving. I have overlooked these meals when doing my Thanksgiving planning in the past and have really regretted it! I knew that whatever it was going to be, it had to be easy. The recipes I’m sharing this week are really quick and easy, but still very good!
A little over a year ago I shared my cinnamon roll recipe. I had a lot of people say they would love to eat one, but they looked like to much trouble to actually make! If that is you, then this much simpler recipe is for you!! If you would like the original cinnamon roll recipe you can get that here.
1 Box of Yellow cake mix
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Turn waffle iron on to desired setting. Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Add ground cinnamon. Cook in the waffle iron. When done drizzle with the glaze.(see below)
1 tsp milk
1 1/2 C powdered sugar
4 TBS butter-softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together and drizzle over warm waffles.
It really is that easy! You can also use any kind of cake mix you like, the possibilities are endless 🙂
