The Clarks Go North

I love summertime in Arkansas, as long as I am indoors with the AC cranked up. So when I my husband suggested we go north to visit his family in July, I weighed my options. Yes, Indiana beckoned me with double digit temperatures and the chance for an occasional breeze, but, there was the boy to consider. Could we survive a thirteen hour car trip with a three year old? As the mercury continued to rise down south, we bought a portable dvd player and headed north.

Jackson was so excited to see his Grandpa and Mimi, Uncle Alex, Aunt Amy and his cousins, Chasen and Kyan. And, of course, all the corn. Continue reading
